Polylithic Launches Free Demo, Invites Players to Step Into the Prehistoric Past

Step Into the World of Polylithic

A new era begins for Polylithic as a free demo launches today, giving players their first taste of life in the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods. Now available in Early Access on Steam, Polylithic is an atmospheric third-person survival game. It takes players back to a time before civilization, when early humans were just beginning to carve out their place in a wild and untamed world.

The demo introduces the game’s core mechanics, including resource gathering, crafting, exploration, and survival as a lone hunter-gatherer. Players will begin their journey in a nomadic tribe. They will gradually unlock early technologies that lay the foundation for more advanced ways of life. The experience offers a glimpse of what lies ahead in the full game, from building settlements to leading a growing community and guiding a tribe through the challenges of the Neolithic age.

Survival isn’t guaranteed. In Polylithic, humans are not the dominant force—they are one of many species fighting to survive. Whether players choose to remain solitary or embrace leadership, their decisions will shape how their story unfolds. As a tribe leader, players can assign tasks, manage resources, and help develop Elders, the wise foundation of early society.

Set in a stylized low-poly world teeming with life, players will explore dense forests, snowy peaks, and winding rivers, discovering ancient monuments and confronting the mysteries of early humanity.

Polylithic is available now in Early Access on Steam along with the new free playable demo.
