The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth devastated by an alien life form known as the Bleed. They have defeated the human beings who are forced to live in sturdy underground shelters called the ‘Ark’. However, in order to reclaim the land, they developed the 9th Sentinel Sisters, a group of clone soldiers who pilot manned weapons called Fathers to fight the Bleed.
Players take control of one of the clone soldiers and pilot its Father. They must fight through procedurally generated stages, defeating hordes of enemies and bosses along the way. The game features a variety of weapons and reinforcement parts to combine and create unique powerful builds.
They can also choose their own strategic path, focusing on either taking on strong enemies, strengthening their weapons, or recovering damage. The gameplay is challengingly fast-paced and requires players to think on their feet and react quickly. The roguelike elements add an extra layer of excitement to it.
