Become a Descendant
It’s always exciting when an upcoming game decides to host an open beta. It gives players a chance to see what the game is all about in an earlier stage. Of course, this is especially important for multiplayer games. Today, NEXON Korea and NEXON Games are happy to announce that the beta for their upcoming co-op RPG shooter, The First Descendant, will be open. Taking place September 19th-25th, the beta gives players their first foray into the world of the game. Included in the open beta are a host of updates, bug fixes, and content additions. The First Descendant places players into the titular role of a Descendant. Your mission is to battle an alien species known as the Vulgus who invaded the Albion and the continent of Ingris. Of course, these aliens brought with them a horde of colossi and destructive threats. Players will be able to team up with friends as they take on the Vulgus threats in intense battles and massive boss fights where teamwork and coordination are key. Players will gather new equipment and crafting items as they progress through missions and work to save the world.
Importantly, the open beta gives players a new prologue to explore alongside new storylines and a new map. Furthermore, the beta will also give players access to 11 playable Descendants and two ultimate Descendants, 11 new ultimate weapons, a new cosmetic system, and more. Additionally, there will be multiple rewards given only to those who participate in the open beta.
The First Decendant’s open beta is taking place from September 19th until the 25th. Players can sign up for the beta here. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and PC via Steam.
