Seasons and Ages
There is no adventure in the Legend of Zelda series that is insignificant. Sure, we all may be on a Tears of the Kingdom kick, but they are all important. Even the ones on the smaller platforms are worth playing. Now, thanks to Nintendo Switch Online, there are more than ever on the Switch.
Today, Nintendo added the two Zelda games from the Game Boy Color era. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are part of the Game Boy library on Nintendo’s online service.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are part of the Era of Light and Dark in the Fallen Hero Timeline, for the lore hounds. They are set after A Link to the Past and Link’s Awakening.

In these two games, Link meets Din and Nayru, who you may know as two of the three Goddesses. They are both the Oracle of Seasons and Ages, respectively, but they find themselves in need of Link’s rescue. Link uses the Rod of Seasons to change the time of year, affecting his surroundings to save Din. He also uses the Harp of Ages to travel backward and forwards through time to save Nayru.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages are available on Game Boy Color. Now they’re available on Nintendo Switch Online.
