No Man’s Sky Fractal Update Has Officially LaunchedÂ
Hello Games released No Man’s Sky in 2016 to a lot of controversy, as fans were sorely disappointed in the game based on expectation. However, since then, the developers have poured a lot of content into the game and they appeared to have redeemed themselves. Today, the developers have released the Fractal Update for the game, as the game’ first major update for 2023. The game is available on PC via Steam and GOG, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
Players will have access to the Utopia Speeder, which allows travel between planets at a high velocity. Furthermore, players can hop into the Utopia expedition, which challenges them to work together and rebuild abandoned solar systems for the Utopia foundation. Additionally, players that hop into other expeditions gain rewards such as the Fearsome Visor, a robotic drone companion and much more. Also, the developers have introduced new features on the Steam Deck such as gyroscopic controls that make exploration and scanning of new discoveries much easier.
Besides that, players that use VR technology will see a ton of benefits in the Fractal Update for No Man’s Sky. Some of these upgrades include playing the entirety of the campaign without compromise, switching between VR and standard gameplay and a HUD and interface made just for the VR experience.
Moreover, in No Man’s Sky, players fly into an open world experience filled with galaxies to explore and unique lifeforms and planets to discover.
