MMORPG New World Unveils Its Roadmap Heading Into 2023
Amazon Games released New World, its fantasy MMORPG, in late 2021. However, the game, that was overly hyped by prospective players, fell short of the map. Since then, the developers have been working on a serious resurgence. The team has unveiled the roadmap for 2023, with particular releases in Spring and Summer. Interested fans can get their hands on the game at the price of $39.99USD on Steam and other platforms for PC.
In Spring 2023, players can look forward to Empyrean Forge Expedition, a Gear Set Storage System, Springtide Bloom Event and MSQ Improvements. Additionally, in Summer 2023, players can look forward to a lot of content. Some of this includes Transmog, Raid Groups, the Sandworm Elite Trial, Cross World Outpost Rush and the Summer Medleyfaire Event.
Furthermore, the company has noted that it plans to introduce various Quality of Life improvements along with more cinematics and heartgem runes. However, players should note that the roadmap is subject to change and may not include all the planned content thus far.
Thus far, fans are excited for the upcoming content and are interested in the additional changes set to be made. Unfortunately, some fans are of the opinion that the roadmap is a bit bare and that the upcoming content may be insufficient. It is to be noted that the game is only one year old and will have a long life cycle.
