A Thrilling Mystery
Prepare to walk the terrifying streets of an abandoned village. Well, seemingly abandoned at least. Today developer Elseware Experience and publisher Freedom Games are happy to announce the PC release of their mystery game, Broken Pieces. A press release provides more details about the darkness of this mystery. Additionally, the launch trailer provides players with a look at the game, its art style, and what players can expect.
Broken Pieces introduces players to a seemingly abandoned French town. Playing as Elise, players will try to find her missing fiancé. Yet, she is not alone. Supernatural threats stalk the streets of the town, antagonist shadow creatures will stand in your way as you attempt to discover the truth. Luckily, Elise has her own unexplainable powers to help you out.
Interestingly, players will solve puzzles inspired by the real life mysteries of Brittany, France and collect clues to uncover the truth behind a cult. Additionally, the story takes place completely in a hush. Adding to the town beyond time feeling, there is no background music to add ambience. There is a lot to discover, but players can get their first look at all of it in the launch trailer. So, take a look below.
Broken Pieces is available now on Steam. Currently it is available for $24.99 with a 20% launch discount. Of course, the game will release for consoles on October 31st, 2022. So players can look forward to an even spookier Halloween. Are you ready to explore the town beyond time?
