Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Is Coming to Steam
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will no longer be an Epic exclusive. Gearbox’s dice-rolling fantasy-themed Borderlands spinoff is releasing on Steam tomorrow. To make the deal sweeter, devs are also throwing in a toasty new DLC to celebrate.
Molten Mirrors is the game’s third installment in its slew of Mirrors of Mystery DLCs. It takes players to a lava-stricken prison to fight Fyodor the Soul Warden. Basically, it is a series of new bosses and gauntlets that devs added to the game’s existing pool of randomly generated Chaos Chamber dungeons.
Considering that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a spinoff, multiple players have commented that it sticks dangerously close to its past successes that may feel a bit unoriginal. How much the players enjoy the game will most likely scale with how familiar they are with the absurdities of trying to run a fantasy tabletop adventure in real life.
According to a press release, the fourth expansion Shattering Spectreglass is launching to the gaming public later this year. It is also introducing a new Blightcaller playable class that players will surely enjoy.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on Steam is also bringing full crossplay features with Epic and the console versions of the game. This indicates that saves from the Epic version are going to be compatible with the Steam version. However, it is worth noting that players will have to manually copy the files over themselves. They may want to back up their saves before doing the manual transfer just to be safe.
All achievements that they earned during the game’s tenure as an Epic exclusive will not immediately unlock in the Steam version. However, they can still re-earn them by completing the requirements again. They can unlock any Steam achievements with the new characters that they create in the game on Steam.
Furthermore, fans who buy Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands between June 23rd and July 7th get a special launch price. They can also get the Golden Hero Armor Pack. This pack features two golden armor themes that they can apply to any armor set.
