Task Force 141 is Here
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has released its very first teaser trailer featuring Task Force 141 and confirms the full reveal date for the game.
The “Ultimate Team” teaser trailer shows off the iconic global squad of war veterans known as Task Force 141, including Ghost, on their way to a battlefield. The brief 1-minute teaser trailer ends with the date June 8 for the full reveal of the game.
In an official blog post, Infinity Ward promises Modern Warfare II will introduce a new era for Call of Duty that is incredibly ambitious. “Modern Warfare II is an incredibly ambitious title in terms of what we hope to deliver to our fans. The fact that we have been able to develop this game in a hybrid environment throughout the pandemic speaks to the caliber of talent we have at the studio,” said Stephanie Snowden, Director of Communications.
It is not clear as of right now if the full reveal of the game that will take place on June 8th will introduce both the Campaign and the Multiplayer modes of the game. However, players should be highly excited for this game as it is officially set to be the only mainline Call of Duty game to be released until 2024, apart from Infinity Ward’s free game, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is set to continue on the story of its predecessor Modern Warfare 2019. The game is releasing on October 28, 2022, on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
