This War of Mine: Final Cut Heads To Next Gen Consoles In May
11 Bit Studios first released This War of Mine on PC via Steam, Humble Bundle and GOG on November 14th, 2019. The game was well-received for its grim nature, riveting storylines and survival features. Today, the developers have announced that This War of Mine: Final Cut will be heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via the Microsoft Store on May 10th. The game will also be available for subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass on PC and console. This War of Mine: Stories will also be available on the next-gen consoles.
The Final Cut version of the game is a remaster of the original with a few neat additions. In the game, players take on the role of various citizens in besieged city. The goal is to survive as food is scarce and there are hostile enemies and scavengers lurking the area. Players must use their tactics to survive both night and day, putting their civilians to different purposes. The game was inspired by real-life events and the story takes various turns along the way.
Other key features in The Final Cut include making difficult life and death decisions, a randomized world with new characters each time and the ability to control survivors and manage a shelter. Furthermore, fans that purchase The Final Cut will have access to all the updates and expansions released since the game first launched. This includes a ton of repayable content and more!
