Halo Infinite’s Latest Trailer Shows Off Game Modes In Season 2

Halo Infinite released in late 2021 for free on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. This iteration of the long standing franchise was highly anticipated for multiple reasons. Fans were quite happy with the game’s gameplay, combat and more, however as months went by, there was a drought in content. Recently, 343 Industries announced that on May 3rd, Season 2 will launch. ‘Lone Wolves’ is set to introduce a ton of new content to the game including new game modes. Today, in a trailer, the developers have showcased these upcoming game modes.

In Season 2, fans will finally see the return of King of the Hill. In this game mode, players must fight for time on the hill and each second counts as one point. The hill changes position often so players must keep their rotations up and win their gun fights! In Land Grab, there are three neutral zones around the map. Teams must capture the zones and the team that makes eleven points wins.

Last Spartan Standing is based around the theme of Season 2. Here, twelve players spawn on Big Team Battle Maps with five respawns and a confined loadout. The match ends when there is only one Spartan left. This game mode seems to be a pseudo battle royale mode on a smaller scale, so this may excite some fans!

In Season 2, besides the game modes, fans can expect more skins and cosmetic content, two maps to traverse and much more.
