Why I’m Optimistic About Call of Duty: Vanguard

Call of Duty: Vanguard Impressions

Let’s not beat around the bush, Call of Duty: Vanguard treads familiar ground, however, Sledgehammer has refined the great mechanics and modes making the moment-to-moment gameplay an absolute joy but is this enough for you to purchase on release?

After assisting Infinity Ward 10 years ago with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer has defined itself as a solid developer of the series. With a focus on boots-on-the-ground traditional gameplay, the company looks to develop on what they started with WWII. Boasting a single-player campaign that spans over four different frontlines, taking you around the world, Sledgehammer look to celebrate the multinational heroes of the war. As well as this, the multiplayer has had a bunch of new modes added making Call of Duty: Vanguard look like a sweet package. Our resident expert has poured hours into the game so check his in-depth impressions below to find out if this is a game that you need to be playing.
