I’m the Bad Guy… Duh
A couple of weeks ago, we got an in-depth look at what fiery destruction awaits us in Far Cry 6. There are all sorts of weapons to play with. From pistols to assault rifles to homemade disc-launchers to motor-powered miniguns. This weekend, from Ubisoft Forward at E3, we are getting a first look at the post launch content for Far Cry 6 and it gets… weird, to say the least. It is still unclear what the scope of the DLC is, but fans are going to be playing as the big bads from the three previous Far Cry games.
We still need an explanation on how this happens, but the Far Cry 6 DLC is going to put players in the shoes of Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. Is this an alternate reality? Virtual reality? Some cruel trick? And are these mind-melding adventures going to be one DLC or episodic installments? Hopefully, we get clearer answers in the coming months. What we do know is that we will be getting a lot more backstory of these villains. The roles of these characters are being reprised by all the original actors.
The trailer for the Season Pass also reveals that we will be revisiting Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, which was a standalone Far Cry 3 spin-off. We don’t know that capacity that game will appear in, but fans will no doubt be pleased. Far Cry 6 will be available on October 7th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
