More Dragon Ball Xenoverse Is Coming Your Way
The next set of story DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was announced last week, and while the upcoming “Trunks The Warrior of Hope” may be the final DLC for the game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s predecessor is still receiving new updates, nearly five years after the game’s release. A new expansion pass has been announced for the 2016 title, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The new Legendary pass will add new characters, story missions, parallel quests, and more to the game.
The upcoming Legendary Pass will be divided between two Legendary packs –the first of which will be releasing later this week on March 18.
Legendary Pack 1 will include two new playable characters, two extra missions, four new parallel quests, six new moves, three new costumes and accessories, five new super souls, and fifteen new illustrations.
The new characters include Pikkon from Dragon Ball Z, and Top, the God of Destruction for Universe 11 as seen in Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power. Speaking of the Tournament of Power, the game will finally be tackling Dragon Ball Super’s final story arc with the new extra missions included in the pack.
As far as new costumes goes, the pack will also add Bardock (DB Super)’s Clothes, and Gine (DB Super)’s clothes.
The new DLC was announced in a detailed launch trailer that also announced some new free updates. First of all, there’s the Conton City Vote! Players will vote on who they want to see get added into the game at a later date. There will be three voting periods for a new Hero, a new Costume, and a mascot for the city. The update will also be adding a Stylist to Conton City who will allow players to customize their hair, facial hair, and skin color –a highly requested feature since the game launched.
There will also be a number of raid quests, including one against Top. The full free update breakdown includes four new costumes/accessories, five new super souls, three new CC mascots, 60 new illustrations, three new raid quests, and 70 new Hero Colosseum figurines. The trailer ends with a little tease at the Legendary Pack 2 coming this fall with a quick shot of Future Gohan.
