Avengers vs AIM
Keeping up with every bit of news from a certain game can be exhausting. Little bits will get teased, revealed in trailers, developer updates, even through leaks. Sometimes gamers just want to get some general information in one dose. That is usually why we have launch trailers; something to get everyone up to speed with what the game is all about. Crystal Dynamics has released a Marvel’s Avengers launch trailer for Gamescom. It does not contain any gameplay, but we see all our favorite Avengers working together to take down the bad guys.
The trailer starts with AIM terrorizing citizens in a big city. The classic Avengers appear to save the day; Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow. Cap nearly gets out his Avengers tagline, but gets interrupted by Ms. Marvel, launching herself into battle. The heroes get to work, with a spotlight moment on each of them, except Black Widow. I don’t know what’s up with that; she’s pretty cinematic and a ton of fun to play as. We see the Avengers teaming up in unique ways to take down AIM-bots before the rest of the army marches on them, led by MODOK.
We are one week away from Marvel’s Avengers’ official launch, but in just a few days, fans who pre-ordered the game will get to begin their 72 early access. If you are still on the fence about it, Crystal Dynamics will also be holding another War Table presentation on September 1st. Marvel’s Avengers will be out on September 4th for PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One.
