After Nearly 30 Years on the Job, One of Blizzard Entertainmentโs Co-Founders Is Retiring
Blizzard Entertainment co-founder & chief development officer Frank Pearce announced his retirement on Friday with a lengthy message posted on the companyโs official website. Pearce had co-founded Blizzard alongside Allen Adham and Michael Morhaime back in 1991.

In his message, Pearce reflected on his long career with Blizzard and thanked his fellow employees for making the company such a great place to work for. He also thanked Blizzardโs player community for being so passionate about the companyโs games.
When it came to his future plans, Pearce said that he plans on spending โmore time active in the outdoors.โ โIโd like to learn to play an instrument,โ Pearce continued. โI hope to devote more time to aspects of my life that may not have gotten as much attention in the past. One thing is for certain โ I will continue to be a part of the Blizzard family.โ
Blizzard Entertainment president J. Allen Brack praised Pearceโs contributions to Blizzard and said, โFrank might be hanging up his armor now, but because of the influence heโs had in helping to build Blizzard and the connections heโs made with so many of us, veterans and new recruits alike who are all carrying the same torch forward, heโll always be here with us.โ
