NetherRealm is at the height of its hype before every major game launch. With Injustice 2, we got a gradual cast reveal leading up to release. It’s the same with Mortal Kombat 11, except the latest character tease is something beyond what we’d expect.
The Mortal Kombat franchise is no stranger to crossovers – In Mortal Kombat X, we had Alien, Predator, Jason, and more. So, we’re all excited for the potential of the next installment’s DLC, which may add more characters from other beloved properties. Over on Twitter, game developer Hideki Kamiya from Platinum Games shared a blunt yet cryptic post about a possible crossover.

I can’t tell if Kamiya just dropped some insight about the future or if he’s tugging at the seams, but I think we can all agree that he wants to see Bayonetta in Mortal Kombat 11. Take it with a big, fat grain of salt. Make it happen, NetherRealm. That kind of DLC would be interesting, to say the least. I just wonder if the character would be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch—they are funding the next sequel, after all. What are your thoughts?
