Black Ops 4 Has a Brand New Marketing Campaign and It’s Plain Hilarious
Yesterday it was confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would indeed have a Hardcore playlist and today Activision and Treyarch kicked off a brand new marketing campaign called CODNation. Let’s just say that there’s a reason why COD has had the best marketing success for over a decade, as this latest one is straight up hilarious.
With Black Ops 4 less than two weeks away, Treyarch and Activision have just launched a new content focused campaign, encouraging fans and Youtube content creators to submit their best and/or funniest moments from Black Ops 4. And they launched this new CODNation campaign with style, featuring a funny and unique rendition of Post Malone’s hit ‘Rockstar’. You can check out the hilarious video for yourself on Twitter below.

It’s only been a few hours and already the CODNation campaign is spreading like wildfire. The official Call of Duty YouTube channel has released a few more fan-made promos, since the first one with Post Malone including one called “Choppers Need Love Too” and “Hat Attack”. You can check out the Chopper one below, which is just as funny, if not just as strange as the Post Malone video.
