Red Dead Redemption 2 Ramps up Marketing Ads All Over the World

The Wild West Is Spreading

On the precipice of October, Rockstar Games have ramped up their marketing campaign for Red Dead Redemption 2. Pretty soon, the whole world will be emblazoned with the read backdrop of the game’s logo, and that’s just fantastic.

In cities and subways, people are laying witness to the members of the Van der Linde gang. Images have cropped up across social media, with some of the usual suspects, like John Marson, Dutch, and Arthur Morgan appearing alongside lesser-known characters. Come October 26, everyone might be familiar with the faces that populate the gang. We saw the same marketing with Grand Theft Auto V, just before the game launched to worldwide reverie and acclaimed. Will Red Dead Redemption 2 match its predecessor’s success? I’m sure Take-Two hopes so.

I imagine the marketing push is geared toward everyone who’s yet to hear about the game, of which there can only be so many. From the footage we’ve seen thus far, Red Ded Redemption 2 contains the best visuals of any Rockstar game to date. Fans seemed more excited when devs revealed that realistic horse physics are a feature of the game, and by horse physics, I mean testicles that change with temperature. Since there are over 200 animals in the world, it’s near impossible to imagine how the devs captured the individual details of each species. Maybe, we’ll learn when the game finally launches worldwide.
