GTA V Has a New Game Mode for Online
After adding a bunch of new content to Grand Theft Auto V last month, including 20 additional stunt races, Rockstar Games announced a new game mode for online today! The new game mode is called Land Grab which is available to play right now for a limited time. It looks like there is a lot to be excited about GTA V players!
Rockstar Games announced that there is a new way to play Grand Theft Auto V’s multiplayer mode, and it comes in the form of Land Grab. This new game mode is a team versus team battle mode that allows up to four teams to battle it out in some stylish neon suits! Check out the description from Rockstar: “Claim what’s rightfully yours in Land Grab, the latest mode to invade GTA Online. Every minute counts in Land Grab, where teams battle to control territory in an unforgiving cyberspace: shoot the other guy in the neck, grab his turf, reload and repeat. If you don’t do it, someone will do it for you.”
The official website also explained how teams will win the game mode stating, “The team with the most territory at the buzzer wins.” This new GTA Online Adversary mode sounds a bit like Tron, and will add a bunch of fun, as well as a pop of colour to the game! There are seven new maps for teams to battle it out in the war for territory. Players are able to claim territory by just running over the land that belongs to the other team(s), and in doing so, this territory will turn the same colour of neon that you are playing as. Winning is definitely worth your while as well, as players on the team that is victorious earn double RP and GTA money. Land grab is available now until April 24th! Members of GTA’s Social Club can get a look at all seven of the “cyberspace” maps here.
