If Weโre Being Honest, Rocket Leagueโs Stunts Are Still Not as Outrageous
Many fans have probably been waiting for such a pairing; others probably thought it had already been done, and more probably believed Rocket League was originally based on The Fast and the Furious franchise. Well, it hadnโt happened yet, so here it is. In anticipation of the film, The Fate of the Furious, Psyonix is releasing their movie-inspired DLC.
Players will gain access to the Ice Charger vehicle inspired by Domโs vehicle in the movie, along with the following: an exclusive set of wheels and six premium decals. Those decals include Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL. Find it all for $2 when the DLC arrives on April 4th. In case youโre looking forward to the Fate of the Furious movie, it arrives 10 days later on April 14th.
Note: This is not an April Foolโs Joke. Relax.
Psyonix is liable to team up with more companies in the future. Theyโve done so in the past, as weโve seen via the Batmobile reveal some time back. Furthermore, speaking of team-ups, Psyonix has already expressed positive sentiment toward supporting Rocket League on the Nintendo Switch. We are still awaiting Nintendoโs response at this point. If it did happen, then maybe some Mario Kart decals would prevail. Just a thought.
Rocket League is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For more of the latest news and updates, be sure to check back with COGconnected. Until then, happy gaming.
