Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Teaser is Out
A couple of days ago, Telltale announced Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: A Telltale Series in a world premiere trailer at the Game Awards show. Today, the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released.
This is technically the first official trailer for the film, though Director James Gunn unveiled a nearly 90-second sneak peek in October. While the first teaser for the original Guardians made use of Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling,” this Guardians 2 teaser uses “Fox On The Run” by The Sweet. Both songs were released in the U.S. 1974 (though “Hooked on a Feeling” was released abroad a year earlier). “Fox on the Run” is the first hint of what’s in store for the Awesome Mix Vol. 2, which will provide the soundtrack for the film.

Once again, the Guardians of the Galaxy team includes Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Baby Groot (Vin Diesel). The film also stars Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn and Kurt Russell as Star-Lord’s father Ego.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
