Bayonetta

She’s as beautiful as she is deadly, and now she deserves some shelf space! Bayonetta made a surprise appearance as DLC for Super Smash Bros., and with that, she received not one but two amiibo! Maybe we’ll get another use from her amiibo when Bayonetta 3 arrives… wink, wink…

Cloud

Cloud was yet another surprise entrant in Super Smash Bros., and with that, he received two amiibo, inspired by his two different designs. For those who may not know, Cloud was the main protagonist in the GREATEST FINAL FANTASY EVER, Final Fantasy VII (I believe that’s a scientific fact).

Mewtwo

The mysterious Pokemon Mewtwo deserves a spot on here just because he has the coolest looking Pokemon amiibo released so far, at least until Nintendo finally releases a Pikachu Libre amiibo.

Pikmin

The lovable Pikmin take the spotlight in this amiibo based on the most recent Pikmin adventure, Hey! Pikmin for 3DS. This is one amiibo that you’ll definitely want to have if you’re playing Hey! Pikmin as it’ll provide some Pikmin reinforcements if you run into trouble!

Metroid

The Metroid amiibo, alongside a new Samus Aran amiibo, was released to coincide with the brand new 3DS game, Metroid: Samus Returns. This slick looking amiibo portrays a Metroid escaping containment – which is never good in the Metroid universe! There’s a good chance the Metroid amiibo (along with the three Samus variants) will be usable in the upcoming Metroid Prime 4 – so make sure you grab them while you can!

Metroid amiibo

Nintendo is showing no signs of slowing down the release of amiibo! This fall, we’ll see brand new amiibo inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 2, Super Mario Odyssey, the Fire Emblem series and the Shovel Knight series. One thing is certain – amiibo rarely stay on shelves for very long, so grab your favorites quick!
