The Town of Villa Hess Awaits in Tormented Souls 2
PQube and Dual Effect have brought Tormented Souls 2 to Nintendo Switch 2, giving players a new way to experience the survival horror sequel. The game is available digitally and through physical editions in Europe and North America, alongside a Digital Deluxe Edition featuring two exclusive costumes for protagonist Caroline Walker.
To celebrate the launch, the developers have also dropped a new trailer showcasing the nightmare that awaits players in Villa Hess. From grotesque monsters and eerie environments to mind-bending puzzles and the twisted reality known as the Other Side, the footage offers a chilling look at what’s in store.
Tormented Souls 2 puts players back in the shoes of Caroline Walker, whose search for her abducted sister leads her to the isolated town of Villa Hess. What begins as a desperate rescue mission quickly spirals into a fight for survival against a sinister cult, corrupted inhabitants, and terrifying creatures lurking around every corner.
Things get even stranger when Caroline discovers the Other Side, a nightmarish dimension where altering the past can change the present. Players must use this supernatural ability to solve puzzles and uncover new paths, but exploring this twisted reality comes with its own deadly risks.
Survival won’t come easy, either. Caroline must rely on her trusty pneumatic nailer and an arsenal of brutal makeshift weapons to take down enemies. Choosing the right weapon at the right moment could mean the difference between escaping alive and becoming another victim of Villa Hess.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the Rebel Biker outfit, and the Classic Caroline Outfit. Existing owners can also purchase a separate upgrade to access both costumes.
With its gruesome enemies, psychological twists, and puzzle-heavy gameplay, Tormented Souls 2 looks ready to deliver another dose of old-school survival horror.
