Watch the New Story Trailer of Kitaria Fables 2
Secret Level Studios, Twin Hearts, and publisher PQube have officially announced that applications for the Kitaria Fables 2 closed beta are now open. Players can apply until September 4, 2026, with the closed beta scheduled to take place from September 7 to September 21 on Steam.
The developers are inviting English-speaking players to take part in the playtest and share valuable feedback that will help polish Kitaria Fables 2 ahead of its planned Spring 2027 launch.
During the beta, participants will have unlimited access to a special Steam build featuring around 60% of the content planned for the full game. The developers estimate that the available content will take approximately 10 hours to complete and encourage testers to play as much as possible before filling out a short feedback form about their experience. The beta will only support English, while the full game will launch with localization for more than 10 languages.
As this is a closed test, participants will not be allowed to share beta content online. This includes Steam forum posts, social media posts, videos, and livestreams. However, testers will have access to a dedicated closed beta Discord server where they can discuss their experiences with other participants and communicate with the development team.
The announcement also comes with a brand-new Story Trailer, giving players a closer look at the adventure that awaits in the game.
Kitaria Fables 2 will launch in Spring 2027 for Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players interested in joining the test can submit their applications before September 4.
