Yet Another Awesome Partnership From Cygames

The 2026 Breeders’ Cup will take place from October 30 to 31 in Lexington, Kentucky, bringing together some of the biggest names in horse racing. The two-day event will feature 14 Grade 1 races, with more than $34 million in purses and awards up for grabs.

The Cygames Breeders’ Cup Sprint will take place on October 31, with three-year-old and older thoroughbreds competing in the 1,200-meter (six-furlong) dirt race. The event comes with a hefty $2 million purse, while Cygames will have a visible presence throughout the race, including its logo on the starting gate and the saddle towels used by the competing horses.

The company is also bringing a little bit of its gaming world to the event. Fans attending the Breeders’ Cup will be able to see a life-size Umamusume: Pretty Derby figure based on Forever Young, the winner of last year’s Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic.

The collaboration feels like a natural fit for Cygames, especially given Umamusume’s focus on horse racing-inspired characters. With the Breeders’ Cup returning to Lexington, this partnership gives fans another fun way to see the worlds of gaming and racing come together.
