Get Ready for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond
Cygames Inc. has announced that Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond will launch globally on June 17, 2025, with preregistration now open on the App Store, Google Play, Steam, and Epic Games Store. A preregistration event is offering in-game rewards based on the total number of sign-ups. If 300,000 players preregister, everyone will receive rupies and tickets worth 20 card packs. The game introduces a new mechanic called Super-Evolution, which grants each player two super-evolution points per match. These points can be used to upgrade any follower, giving them Rush, +3 attack and defense, and activating both their Evolve and Super-Evolve abilities. Super-evolved followers also become immune to abilities on their controller’s turn.
Additionally, when they defeat an enemy follower, that follower is knocked into the enemy leader, dealing an extra point of damage. Another new feature, the Bonus Play Point, allows the second player to gain a temporary play point twice per match—once before their sixth turn and once after.
Evolution mechanics have also been adjusted. All evolved followers now gain a standardized +2 to both attack and defense, while super-evolved followers receive +3. Players will have two evolution and two super-evolution points, allowing for four evolutions per match.
The World feature has been reworked into Shadowverse Park, a social space for battles and events. Players can customize avatars, join guilds, and compete in online tournaments. Activities like fishing, mahjong, and dungeons have been removed in favor of a more focused experience. More details will be shared in future updates, so stay tuned.
