Put Your Skills to the Test in Minigolf Brake!
Revulo Games has announced Minigolf Brake!, a physics-based arcade minigolf game that puts a fresh spin on the familiar sport by letting players brake their ball mid-roll. The game will launch on PC via Steam and Xbox on December 11, 2026, while a Nintendo Switch version remains in testing.
Unlike traditional minigolf games, where players must rely largely on their initial shot, Minigolf Brake! gives them greater control over how their ball moves across the course. This unusual mechanic opens the door to more precise shots, clever shortcuts, and plenty of unexpected moments as players navigate different obstacles.
The game features more than 80 levels, offering plenty of challenges for players to tackle as they learn to master its physics-based gameplay. Timing and precision will play an important role, but players will also need to think creatively to find the best routes and get their balls into the hole.
Players can enjoy the experience solo or compete with friends through local and online multiplayer. The accessible controls should make it easy for newcomers to pick up, while the added braking mechanic gives experienced players room to experiment with different approaches and improve their shots.
With its unusual take on minigolf, Minigolf Brake! aims to turn a simple game of putting into a more playful test of skill and creativity. Its mix of physics-based challenges, multiplayer options, and over 80 levels could make it worth keeping an eye on ahead of its December launch. Those interested in trying something different from the usual minigolf formula may want to add this one to their watchlist.
