Join the Intense Action in Witch the Showdown
Witch the Showdown is gearing up for a showdown of its own. Citales Games and Perp Games have announced that the high-difficulty parry-action deckbuilder will enter Steam Early Access on November 19.
Following the release of its Steam demo earlier this year, Witch the Showdown is ready to throw players into even tougher battles against powerful, boss-level enemies. The game combines fast combat, precise parries, and strategic deckbuilding, putting players’ reflexes and planning to the test.
Building the right deck will be crucial as players face increasingly dangerous opponents. The Early Access version will expand on the demo with new enemies and additional cards, giving players more options to fine-tune their strategies and take on the game’s toughest challenges.

Witch the Showdown offers both turn-based and fast-paced combat, allowing players to choose between carefully planned encounters and explosive battles. Duel Mode provides a quick way to learn the game with pre-built decks, while Tournament Mode lets players create their own builds, defeat a series of rivals, earn credits, and unlock new cards and relics.
The game also features Luze and newcomer Neon, brought to life through a distinctive contemporary anime-inspired art style. Players can battle through tournaments and unlock dedicated Manga content for each character.
Players looking for an early taste of the action can also check out Witch the Showdown at Tokyo Game Show on September 17–18.
Witch the Showdown will launch fully on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2027. Until then, the November Early Access release should give deckbuilder fans plenty to sink their teeth into.
