GRAVHOUNDS Is Shooting and Building Its Way to Early Access This November

Enter Hostile Alien Planets in GRAVHOUNDS

Get ready to unleash some serious chaos with GRAVHOUNDS, a new co-op action builder heading to PC and Xbox Series X|S on November 2, 2026. Developed and published by independent studio Octopus Panic, the game will launch in Early Access and will also be available day one through Xbox Game Pass.

Revealed during gamescom Opening Night Live, GRAVHOUNDS throws up to four players onto hostile alien planets where survival is anything but guaranteed. Players take control of bio-engineered canine workers and must work together to build defenses, collect valuable resources, manipulate gravity, and escape before an increasingly dangerous alien swarm tears everything apart.

The game is all about deciding how far you are willing to push your luck. Players can set up turrets, generators, and sprawling pipeline networks to protect their operations and gather more resources. But there is a catch: the longer you stay on the planet chasing bigger rewards, the more aggressive the alien swarm becomes. One bad decision could quickly turn a successful run into a frantic fight for survival.

GRAVHOUNDS is also playable at Gamescom this week at the Xbox booth in Hall 7. More gameplay will arrive during the Xbox at Gamescom livestream on August 26 at 3 p.m. CEST.

The game is being developed by Octopus Panic, a studio founded by veterans of 343 Industries and DICE. Development is led by Josh Holmes, former Halo Studios Head and Creative Director of Halo 4.

With four-player co-op, physics-driven mayhem, and plenty of risk-reward gameplay, GRAVHOUNDS could be a chaotic ride worth keeping an eye on.
