Yui Ishikawa and Sora Amamiya Join the Japanese Cast of The Weeping Swan
The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall has received a new update that adds Japanese voice acting to the atmospheric narrative adventure. Developer ZeroCreation Game and publisher 2P Games have brought several well-known Japanese voice actors to the game, including Yui Ishikawa as Su Lianyan, Sora Amamiya as Lin Pianpian, and Takuya Tsuda as protagonist Fang Zhiyou.
To celebrate the update, The Weeping Swan is also available with a limited-time 25% discount. Players can currently pick it up for $8.99, £7.49, or €8.84.
The game follows Fang Zhiyou, a scholar who loses himself in grief and madness after the tragic death of his childhood love, the renowned Yangzhou courtesan Su Lianyan. Three years later, Fang awakens to the sound of war drums and discovers a city overrun by demonic creatures.
What makes the story particularly unusual is that Fang finds himself trapped inside the dark fantasy world he once created through his own writing. As he travels through the ruined city, he meets a young girl named Little Yan, whose appearance and nickname remind him of Su Lianyan.
The story is split between two chapters. The Record Chapter focuses on surviving ten days of slaughter in fallen Yangzhou, while the Memory Chapter explores Fang’s past and his relationship with Su Lianyan.
As the two narratives come together, players will uncover the truth behind Little Yan, Su Lianyan’s death, and Fang’s fractured memories. The Japanese voice update should add another layer of emotion to what already looks like a deeply haunting story.
