Survive Dangerous Waters in All Rats on Deck
Things are about to get messy on the high seas, and this time, the crew are all rats. Twin Beacon Studio and publisher Loopr Partners have announced All Rats on Deck, a chaotic online co-op adventure coming to Steam in Q4 2026.
The game will also get a playable demo during October’s Steam Next Fest, giving players an early chance to see how well they can keep a questionable steamboat afloat.
In All Rats on Deck, up to four players take control of rat companions who have been forced to leave their home behind. With only scraps and loose parts available, the group builds a makeshift paddle steamboat and sets off through dangerous swamps in search of the open ocean.
Keeping the vessel moving will be a team effort. Players must operate the boat, gather resources, overcome obstacles, and keep the engine running as the journey becomes increasingly dangerous. The engine isn’t particularly picky about its fuel, either, meaning players can throw various resources and objects into it. The results, however, may not always be what they expect.
The steamboat also comes equipped with a mounted grapple gun, giving the crew another way to interact with the surrounding environment.
All Rats on Deck supports up to four-player online co-op and proximity voice chat, making communication essential when things inevitably start going wrong.
With a ramshackle boat, four chaotic rats, and plenty of opportunities for things to fall apart, All Rats on Deck could make for some memorable co-op adventures when it launches on Steam in Q4 2026.
