New Features Await in Machick 2
Machick 2 is celebrating its first anniversary with a new free expansion that takes Wuchick on an entirely different adventure. The new DLC ‘Journey East’ launched on Steam today, exactly one year after the original game arrived.
Inspired by Chinese mythology, Journey East takes players into unfamiliar lands filled with new environments, enemies, bosses, accessories, and some seriously interesting chickens. The expansion also adds plenty of new options for players who enjoy experimenting with builds and finding powerful combinations.
The journey introduces four new maps to explore, alongside 10 bosses and mini-bosses and eight new enemy types ready to make Wuchick’s adventure more challenging. Players can also pick up 30 new accessories, each with unique effects that can shake up their approach to different runs.
And, of course, there are more chickens. Journey East adds 10 thematic chickens, with each one bringing its own passive ability to the mix. Combining these new abilities with the expanded accessory pool could lead to some fun and unexpected builds.
Best of all, players won’t have to pay anything extra for the expansion. Journey East will be available completely free to Machick 2 players as part of the game’s first-anniversary celebration.
After a full year of adventures, Wuchick clearly isn’t ready to slow down. With new lands to explore and plenty of feathers flying, this next journey looks like a fun excuse to jump back in.
