Deadpixel, in partnership with Nuntius Games, has announced the release date for Machick 2. Set to launch on September 10, 2025, the game invites players into a world where chickens and frogs battle in an apocalyptic war. It’s a magical roguelike survivor that mixes chaos, charm, and creativity, blending hand-drawn artistry with deep, evolving gameplay systems.
Building on the success of the original title, Machick 2 expands its formula with richer mechanics. The game features polished visuals and endless possibilities for experimentation. Players can craft wildly unpredictable wands with billions of potential combinations, fuse and evolve spells, and equip a vast collection of gear and relics. The game promises unique runs every time, whether you are navigating story-driven battles or diving into infinite survival challenges.
The scope of content is ambitious. Players can choose from 20 different chick characters, evolve 24 skills with three evolutionary paths each, and experiment with 12 spell fusions, with more planned for future updates. The arsenal of 100 accessories and eight active relics adds even more variety. There are 11 distinct stages, as well as swarms of over 60 enemy types and memorable bosses to overcome.
In addition to its PC release on Steam, Machick 2 is planned for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and both Nintendo Switch systems.
