Kitman Brings a New Twist to Soccer Sims With Its Steam Demo This October

Prepare to Become the Best Kitman

Soccer fans looking for something a little different will soon get the chance to step into the shoes of a team equipment manager. Kitman, the soccer-themed job simulator from Outlier, will launch its demo on Steam on October 8, 2026.

The upcoming demo follows a strong alpha playtest that attracted more than 50,000 sign-ups. Before the wider release, Outlier will also run an exclusive pre-demo playtest from September 17 to 20, giving a limited number of players an early look at the game. Players can enter the lottery for the pre-demo playtest by wishlisting Kitman on Steam, joining the Outlier Discord, and providing a valid email address during registration.

The new demo also introduces several features requested by players, including team customization, gamepad support, voice chat, deeper management systems, and new and reworked matchday tasks.

In Kitman, players take on the role of a team’s equipment manager while secretly influencing the club from behind the scenes. Alongside managing locker rooms and keeping players equipped, they can change formations, scout talent, and help guide their team toward the top of the league.

Matchdays add another layer of chaos, with players rushing to provide fresh kits, repair damaged gear, and deal with unexpected problems. The game supports both solo management and multiplayer mayhem, making Kitman an interesting twist on the usual soccer experience.

With the demo arriving soon, soccer fans will not have to wait much longer to get their hands on it.
