Plunder the Treasures in Last Pirates: Die Together
RetroStyle Games is officially releasing its chaotic co-op horror comedy Last Pirates: Die Together into Steam Early Access on August 18, 2026. The Ukrainian indie studio says the game has already attracted more than 300,000 players through its demo, while nearly 200,000 players have added it to their wishlists.
Last Pirates: Die Together supports 1-4 players and mixes horror with physics-based comedy. Players take on the role of a cursed pirate crew searching haunted locations for treasure. The goal sounds simple: grab as much gold as possible and get at least one crewmate out alive. In practice, however, the game’s stretchy-arm mechanics and unpredictable physics can make your own teammates just as dangerous as the monsters.
The Early Access launch significantly expands on the demo with two new handcrafted chapters, Ship and Castle. Six new monsters are also joining the hunt, including the Snake, Parrot, Sleeper, Ear, Anchorman and Crab, alongside reworked Rats. The Mimic has even learned to imitate players’ voices.
Players can also mess around with blackjack, slot machines, trampolines, a jacuzzi, air hockey, instruments and mast parkour. The update also introduces improved lighting, destructible environments, new character skins, Steam Rich Presence, an invite system and Streamer Mode.
With solo play and 1-4 player co-op, Last Pirates: Die Together looks ready to deliver plenty of ridiculous pirate chaos. If you enjoy horror games that don’t take themselves too seriously, this one could be worth checking out.
