Try the Last Pirates: Die Together Demo on 28th May
RetroStyle Games has confirmed that Last Pirates: Die Together will receive its first playable demo on Steam starting May 28, giving players an early look at its unusual blend of co-op horror and chaotic physics-based gameplay.
Built for teams of up to four players, the game drops crews into cursed pirate locations filled with danger and hidden treasure. The objective is simple but intense: collect what you can, survive supernatural threats, and escape before everything spirals out of control. Each session is designed to feel unpredictable, where teamwork becomes both a strength and a potential liability.
What sets the game apart is its strange and creative mechanics. Players can stretch long elastic arms across rooms to grab items, pull teammates, or interact with the environment in unexpected ways. Even reviving fallen allies comes with a bizarre twist, using a humorous system that adds to the game’s chaotic tone. These features turn every encounter into a mix of tension and comedy, where mistakes and accidental sabotage are just as common as smart plays.
The upcoming demo will feature a large 11-level location, nine different monsters, a variety of weapons and consumables, and several character customization options. It offers a solid preview of the core gameplay loop and the game’s distinct atmosphere.
Development on Last Pirates: Die Together began in early 2026, as RetroStyle Games aimed to create a co-op experience focused on social play and memorable moments. And with its demo arriving soon, the game is shaping up to deliver a fresh and unpredictable take on co-op horror.
