INURE, a first-person cosmic survival horror game from solo developer Anas Sammak, is now giving players a chance to experience its unsettling world with a free demo on Steam.
Developed independently in Damascus over more than two years, INURE follows Detective Marc Whitecloud as he investigates a mysterious case involving 28 disappearances. His investigation eventually leads him into the Dreamlands, a hostile and surreal realm where the familiar rules of reality no longer apply.
The demo offers roughly an hour of gameplay that combines exploration, combat, resource management, and physics-based environmental interaction. Players will need to carefully manage their limited ammunition and inventory space while using consumable crafting materials to survive the dangers lurking within the Dreamlands.
