Diffuse the Bomb in BOMBANANA!
Indie developer Lefto Studio has officially announced the release date for BOMBANANA!, its chaotic three-player bomb-defusal game. The game will launch on PC via Steam on September 2, 2026, giving fans a date to mark on their calendars.
The announcement comes shortly after BOMBANANA! crossed an impressive milestone of 1 million wishlists. The game has also attracted more than 6 million unique players, following its viral demo that became the most-played demo during Steam Next Fest in June 2026. Lefto Studio also revealed screenshots showcasing a new art direction for the upcoming release.

BOMBANANA! puts three players in the middle of a frantic bomb-defusal challenge, but there is a major catch: each player only has access to part of the information needed to defuse the bomb. One player is mute, another is blind, and the third is deaf, forcing everyone to find creative ways to communicate before the timer runs out.
Communication quickly becomes the heart of every round, and things can go hilariously wrong. Players can expect plenty of misunderstandings, accusations, frantic gestures, and last-second decisions as they desperately try to prevent everything from going BOOM. Taking inspiration from co-op defusal games like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, the game adds its own chaotic personality to the formula.
With its September release now locked in, the countdown to BOMBANANA! has officially begun. You can go ahead and wishlist the game on Steam right now to be among the first ones to diffuse the bomb.
