Independent developer RolldBox Games has teamed up with publisher Jataí Games to bring Alex & Arty to Steam on September 16, 2026. The upcoming adventure game invites players to restore a once-beautiful world by cleansing corruption, reviving nature, and exploring alongside a unique shapeshifting companion.
Set on the colorful planet of Gladness, Alex & Arty focuses on environmental restoration as its core gameplay mechanic. Instead of simply traveling through different regions, players actively bring life back to polluted environments. As the corruption fades, forests become lush again, wildlife returns, and previously hidden routes gradually open, making every action feel meaningful.
A key part of the adventure is Arty, a loyal companion that can transform into different forms. Each transformation helps players overcome obstacles and access new areas, encouraging exploration across the game’s varied landscapes. From dense forests and vast oceans to volcanic regions, every biome offers its own atmosphere and secrets to uncover.

Alex & Arty will launch with support for English, Spanish, Catalan, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, and Italian. Ahead of release, the developers have also updated the game’s Steam page with a new trailer, refreshed visuals, and additional details about the adventure.
