Scales of Silence Leaves Early Access With Massive 1.0 Launch on Steam

The Full Experience Awaits in Scales of Silence

Aggro Games has officially launched version 1.0 of Scales of Silence on Steam, marking the end of the game’s month-long Early Access period. Developed entirely by solo creator Cinder, the full release delivers the complete experience with all planned content, along with additional refinements based on community feedback.

Scales of Silence

The 1.0 update introduces the complete story campaign featuring 500 handcrafted levels that players can tackle alone or in two-player co-op. Beyond the campaign, Scales of Silence also offers an eight-player local multiplayer experience designed for party sessions, giving players multiple ways to enjoy the game with friends.

Players can now unlock and play as all 30 serpents, take on 20 unique boss battles, and compete across four different multiplayer battle modes. According to the developer, version 0.9.5 already included the game’s major launch content, allowing the final weeks of Early Access to focus on testing, bug fixes, and gameplay improvements before the full release.

The latest update mainly focuses on stability, overall polish, and quality-of-life enhancements shaped by player feedback during Early Access. Those who played before launch won’t have to start over either, as all existing saves, campaign progress, and unlocked content seamlessly carry over to version 1.0.

Speaking about the launch, Cinder said Early Access provided valuable feedback that helped improve the game through bug reports, testing, and player suggestions. With the campaign complete roster now available, the developer believes Scales of Silence is ready to be experienced from start to finish.

It’s always exciting to see a solo developer bring a project across the finish line, and Scales of Silence now offers its complete vision for both solo adventurers and couch co-op fans.
