Shout to Survive in Quack Quack Up
2P Games and FuncoreClub have officially released a playable Steam demo for Quack Quack Up, the chaotic co-op title previously known as Over Duck’d. The game introduces a refreshing twist to multiplayer gameplay by turning the player’s microphone into the only controller, offering a unique and unpredictable experience.
The newly released demo gives players their first opportunity to jump in with friends and take on the role of overwhelmed duck herders. Supporting up to four players in online co-op, the demo features a single map designed to showcase the game’s core mechanics. Players can experiment with voice-based controls, solve environmental puzzles through teamwork, and interact with basic in-game items.
In the game, players must guide a flock of clueless ducks across dangerous terrain using nothing but their voices. These ducks are far from obedient, often wandering off or putting themselves in risky situations. Whether it’s a whisper to gently steer them or a loud shout to prevent disaster, every sound directly impacts their movement and speed.
The game also leans heavily into physics-based gameplay, with varied environments that challenge coordination and timing. Players can use tools such as whistles, firecrackers, and feed to manage their flock while dealing with hazards like falling obstacles and unpredictable terrain. Cosmetic rewards and badges add a layer of progression, allowing players to personalize their herders.
With its creative use of voice controls and chaotic co-op design, the game stands out as a fresh addition to the multiplayer genre. The demo offers a solid glimpse into its potential, setting the stage for what could become a highly entertaining party experience.
