LumenTale: Memories of Trey has officially launched today on PC via Steam and on Nintendo Switch, marking the arrival of a colorful new monster-collecting RPG from Beehive Studios and publisher Team17. Additionally, the team has also revealed a new trailer that you can check out right below.
Set in the enchanting world of Talea, LumenTale: Memories of Trey follows Trey, a young hero who awakens without memories and embarks on a quest to uncover his past. Along the way, players explore vibrant environments, gather resources, and encounter a wide variety of magical creatures known as Animon.
These creatures, powered by a mysterious force called Anivis, play a central role in both exploration and combat. Players can collect over 140 different Animon species and build their team for strategic turn-based battles, ranging from simple one-on-one encounters to larger 4v4 clashes across both PvE and PvP modes. Each Animon belongs to one of five emotional attributes, shaping how they perform in battle. Some, like the calm Sereum types, enhance critical hits, while others, such as the fear-inducing Horrens, focus on overwhelming opponents quickly.
Outside of combat, the game offers a more relaxed experience through the Anispace. In this separate realm, players can train their Animon and customize their own space with crafted or purchased furniture. Spending time here strengthens bonds, giving players an edge in future battles.
The game launches with multiple editions, including Standard, Deluxe, and a Steam-exclusive Lumen Edition. Early adopters can also earn bonus cosmetic content and collectibles.
