Feel the Adrenaline in Look Up and Go
Indie developer TWO FREAKIN SWORDS LLC has announced that its upcoming title LOOK UP AND GO is targeting a release window of August 2026. The solo-developed project is already building attention for its unique blend of high-speed action and competitive mechanics, with players encouraged to wishlist the game ahead of launch.
At its core, LOOK UP AND GO is a fast-paced, run-based first-person shooter combined with hack-and-slash elements. Each run becomes a strategic decision point. Players can choose to double down by risking the points they’ve earned, safely bank those points to climb the leaderboard, or spend them to directly impact other players by increasing difficulty factors such as gravity, enemy damage, and rising water speed.
The gameplay revolves around maintaining momentum and chaining together stylish combos. Players can string kills together while performing tricks like spinning a skateboard or flipping mid-air, all of which boost combo multipliers and increase overall score. This system encourages both skillful combat and creative movement, rewarding players who can stay in motion.
Progression is tightly tied to risk. Points, referred to as “Banked Points,” act as both currency and ranking measure. If a player fails a run, they must spend these points to revive. Failing to afford a revival results in complete removal from the leaderboard, raising the stakes for every decision.
With its mix of speed, style, and competitive tension, LOOK UP AND GO aims to carve out a distinct space in the action genre. If the concept delivers on its promise, it could become a standout indie release when it arrives in August 2026.
