EXSTETRA Makes Its Comeback in HD on July 30 on Steam

Save the World With a Kiss in EXSTETRA

FURYU Corporation has officially set a release date for the HD remaster of EXSTETRA, confirming that the fantasy RPG will launch on PC via Steam on July 30, 2026. The studio revealed the date alongside Japan’s “Kiss Day” celebration on May 23, tying the announcement neatly to the game’s central theme.

The studio also confirmed that it is actively developing versions for Switch 2, Switch, and PS5. However, there are no release dates for those platforms yet. To mark the occasion, the team released the opening movie featuring vocals by NU-KO, offering a fresh look at the remastered presentation.

The game takes place in Amazia, a reimagined Tokyo fused with another world, and it is facing total destruction. Players step into the role of Ryoma, a high school student chosen as a “Prisma,” who must fight to save both worlds. As he travels, Ryoma meets potential Prisma Knights, allies who share his mission. He awakens their abilities through kisses, forming bonds that directly impact battles.

The remaster retains the core gameplay systems that defined the original. Players collect EXS energy by defeating enemies, then share that power with teammates to strengthen them in combat. The “Enchanting” system allows players to upgrade gear with abilities and effects, giving them more control over battle strategies.

With improved visuals, modern platform support, and its distinct gameplay intact, EXSTETRA’s return gives both new players and longtime fans a strong reason to revisit this unique RPG.
