Dive Into the Story of Truck Driver: The American Dream

SOEDESCO has released a new story trailer for Truck Driver: The American Dream, giving players a deeper look at the narrative-driven experience ahead of its launch on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. Developed by Kyodai, the title aims to stand apart from traditional trucking games by placing the story at the center of the journey.

The trailer introduces Nathan, a young man determined to follow in the footsteps of his late father, a respected truck driver. As Nathan takes to the road, he works to rebuild his life while carrying the weight of his father’s legacy. The game focuses on his personal growth, blending emotional storytelling with life on the highway.

If you want to try it out, there is also a playable demo available on Steam, allowing players to experience the opening chapter. The demo highlights the game’s narrative focus while introducing improved mechanics and systems. Players build relationships, earn respect within the community, and gradually shape their own identity in the trucking world.

The Steam version will launch alongside console versions on PlayStation and Xbox, bringing several new features across all platforms. These include more than 150 missions, with 10 new Freedom-to-Roam activities, an additional drivable truck, and expanded steering wheel support for popular hardware. The game also introduces a Vista System treasure hunt mode, a hunger system that requires players to manage meals, and enhanced visuals with updated graphics settings, ray tracing, and support for DLSS 4 and FSR 4. An improved world map and story-mode avatars further refine the experience.

Overall, the game promises to deliver a more story-focused take on trucking, combining simulation with a personal and character-driven journey.
