Hack-and-slash action adventure SoulQuest has stepped back into the spotlight with a brand-new trailer reveal during the Wishlisted Showcase. Developed by TomasJPereyra and published by indie.io, the game is building momentum as it approaches its official PC launch on May 1 via Steam.
SoulQuest draws heavily from Celtic folklore and Arthurian legend, placing players in the role of Alys, a widowed warrior driven by grief and determination. Her journey spans the British Isles as she challenges the goddess of death in a desperate attempt to reclaim her husband’s soul. The experience blends retro-inspired pixel visuals with a medieval-themed soundtrack, while its combat focuses on fast, combo-driven action that rewards precision and timing.
Alongside the new trailer reveal, SoulQuest is also making a public appearance at LVL UP EXPO, giving attendees a chance to go hands-on before launch. The event runs from April 24 to April 26 in Las Vegas, where visitors can try the game at Booth #302, hosted by Starforge and Wishlisted in partnership with Mad Mushroom.
SoulQuest is set to launch on May 1, 2026, priced at $19.99, with a limited-time 20 percent discount at release. The game will also be fully compatible with Steam Deck and support multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, making it accessible to a wider global audience.
