Unpredictable Encounters Awaits in Dungeon Clawler
Stray Fawn Studio has officially launched Dungeon Clawler Version 1.0, bringing its unusual mix of claw machine mechanics and roguelike deckbuilding to a full release. The game is now available on PC via Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices on iOS and Android.
At its core, Dungeon Clawler turns the familiar arcade claw machine into a strategic combat system. Players grab weapons, items, and upgrades directly from the machine, building powerful combinations as they push deeper into a dungeon filled with hazards and unpredictable encounters. Each run demands careful planning, quick adaptation, and a bit of luck.
The project began as a small experiment by co-founder Micha, inspired by classic roguelikes and the vibrant claw machines found in Tokyo arcades. Over time, it grew into one of the studio’s most creative and ambitious titles, gaining attention during its Early Access phase.
With the full release, Version 1.0 introduces a large wave of new content. A Daily Challenge Mode offers fresh variations for each run, while new playable characters like Spinarosa and Captain Coney expand gameplay styles. Players can also experiment with the chaotic Propeller Claw and face new bosses, including Giant Slimes, Mama Creampuff, and Smeltor. Additional enemies, items, and perks further deepen the experience, alongside overall balancing and technical improvements.
With its inventive concept and expanded content, Dungeon Clawler now delivers a more complete and polished experience, positioning itself as a standout title for players looking for something different in the roguelike genre.
