Take a Shot in Drunken Goddess Reflux
Drunken Goddess Reflux has been officially revealed during INDIE Live Expo, bringing a chaotic mix of roguelike survival and dark humor to PC via Steam in 2026. Published by Alliance Arts and developed by WHO YOU, the game throws players into a bizarre and dangerous drinking contest where every choice could mean survival or death.
The premise is as strange as it sounds. Players must drink alongside an unsettlingly affectionate alcoholic demon, matching her shot for shot in a twisted game that feels like a drunken version of Russian Roulette. Each round presents three mysterious glasses filled with unknown alcohol levels, forcing players to make risky decisions that shape how the night unfolds. Outcomes range from dangerously high intoxication to far more deadly consequences, as the demon’s obsession takes a violent turn.
Strategy plays a key role beneath the chaos. Each drink comes with different effects, and players can earn Trick Cards to gain an advantage. Exploring the bar also reveals wandering spirits that grant useful abilities, adding another layer of depth to the experience. As the night progresses, the intensity rises with stronger drinks and fading control. This will force players to find unusual ways to stay alert and outlast their supernatural opponent.
Interestingly, the demon becomes less reliable as she drinks, opening opportunities for clever plays and rule-bending. Taking advantage of her slipping focus may be the only way to survive the night.
Drunken Goddess Reflux will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese at launch. With its unusual concept and unpredictable gameplay, this title stands out as one to watch in 2026’s indie lineup.
