Check Out The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
The GOTY of 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, is getting a premium art book later this year, giving fans a closer look at the creative vision behind the game. Titled The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the hardcover release is set to arrive on November 24 and is currently available for preorder at a slight discount. You can grab it for $57 (was $60) on Amazon, and there is even an exclusive Collector’s Edition.
The 352-page volume dives deep into the game’s artistic vision. Developer Sandfall Interactive combines classic art influences with modern design, and this book showcases that process. It features amazing concept art, early drafts, and previously unseen illustrations. The team also shares insights, notes, and commentary that reveal how they built the world and characters. The cover prominently features the fan-favorite character Maelle, setting the tone for what’s inside.
Publisher Udon Entertainment is also offering a Collector’s Edition with several premium additions. This deluxe version includes gold-ink printing, a slipcase inspired by Alicia’s mask, a gold-plated medal, 10 art prints on textured paper, and a special portfolio filled with exclusive artwork.
Alongside this release, Udon Entertainment continues to expand its art book lineup. The publisher will release Mega Man: Official Complete Works and Mega Man X: Official Complete Works.
